THE KAIROS STRING QUARTET has played for hundreds of wedding ceremonies, and we are committed to making the music for your celebration everything you hope for!
We are available to consult with you throughout your planning process by virtual meeting, phone, email, and text, whatever works best for you.
We work with you, and your personal style and vision, to create the perfect musical setting. We love to collaborate with other musicians, so let us know if you would like us to play with your vocalists, piano, guitar, organ, etc.

For your wedding ceremony, we provide:
Prelude as guests arrive (usually starting 15 minutes before the ceremony)
Special music for the seating of parents, grandparents, other family
Processional for attendants
Processional for the bride
All special music during the ceremony (music between readings, unity candle, accompanying vocal solos, congregational singing, etc.)
Recessional
Postlude as guests depart (usually one selection)
what to expect on the day of your ceremony
The quartet will arrive to set up 20 minutes before the prelude starts. We will be available to rehearse with any other musicians at that time. If more rehearsal time is needed, there is an additional fee, depending on the time required.
We need a space approximately 9-foot by 9-foot in size, and require 4 armless chairs. We can bring our own music stands.

Rates
Our standard fee for a wedding ceremony starts at $975, from prelude through postlude. Additional fees apply for considerations such as travel, original music arrangements, and extra rehearsal time.
We offer a discounted rate for cocktail hours and receptions if we are also playing the ceremony; contact us to discuss special rates.
We ask that you cover our parking costs for events that require parking in a paid lot or garage.
