The professional musicians of the Kairos String Quartet have spent decades honing their craft, and truly love playing together, for your special moment in time—thus our motto, “Hear the love!”
our story
Timothy Olson (violin), Kim Milligan (violin), and Cathy Kuna (cello), met in the late 1980s during their study at the Wheaton College Conservatory of Music and began playing together in 1990. Marla Caballero (viola), joined the quartet in the early ’90s after our original violist moved out of state. Since then, we’ve developed an extensive repertoire and a signature sound, through years of experience playing a wide variety of music for all kinds of events.
